The Wee Gallery on Candleriggs opened its doors in October 2020. It doubles a studio for resident artist - derenz. It's white cube exhibition space is an invitation to all who love to view, to gift, or to own original art and artefacts. The exhibits reflect the creativity and passion of local artists and crafters.
The gallery is a popular destination for visitors to Clackmannanshire and beyond. Since opening, the gallery has welcomed art lovers from as far afield as New Zealand, Nigeria and the USA. The Wee Gallery is at the top of a virtual triangle with Glasgow and Edinburgh - as the crow flies a mere 25 miles away. Free car parks, and a 45 minute direct train from Glasgow Queen Street Station, add to Alloa's appeal as a day-out-destination.
